I just wanted to clarify that I am having the most blessed, enjoyable, happy time and that tired 'world tour wobble' was just momentary. Carol has been a gem and we have got on brilliantly without any tensions between us in almost 2 weeks of 24/7 living. That's pretty remarkable as we have both lived alone and pleased ourselves for years now, that says a lot about our special friendship.
During our day in St Jacobs we saw this truth as a canvas and I wanted to remember it for when the days of my life are not quite as sunny as at present
God didn't promise days without pain
Laughter without sorrow
Nor sunshine without rain
But He did promise
Strength for today
Comfort for sorrow
And light for the way
